Guitar lessons

Guitar teachers in Singapore.

Guitar students come for every reason, from songs they love to rock, jazz or graded exams, so the right teacher is the one who plays the style you're after. Tell us the student's age and standard, when they're free and what you'd like to spend, and we'll rank every teacher who fits. For classical guitar, pick that on the form instead.

Free to ask, and no account needed.

Choosing a teacher

What a good one does

  • Teaches the style the student wants, whether acoustic songs, electric, fingerstyle or jazz.
  • Builds reading of chord charts and tab, and of notation if exams are the goal.
  • Practises pieces the student actually wants to play, which is what keeps them going.

A teacher who doesn't teach guitar never appears on your list. Everyone else is scored out of 100 on when they're free, where they teach, your budget, the student's standard and age, and the rest. What we match on

Common questions

Before you ask

  • Are guitar lessons for children or adults?

Both. The form asks who the lessons are for and the student's age, and teachers say which ages they teach, so an adult beginner is matched as carefully as a seven-year-old.

  • Where do guitar lessons happen?

Wherever suits you: at your home, at the teacher's own studio, online, or somewhere else, such as a community centre. You tick every one that works, and teachers with a studio show only the area, never the address.

  • How much does a guitar teacher cost?

Teachers set their own rate per hour and you set a budget per hour, so everyone is compared the same way. Teachers inside your budget rank higher, and the form shows what your lesson length comes to.
