Drum lessons
Drum teachers in Singapore.
Drumming is timing above everything else, and a good teacher shows how to practise at home on a practice pad between lessons. Tell us the student's age and standard, when they're free and what you'd like to spend, and we'll rank every teacher who fits.
Free to ask, and no account needed.
Choosing a teacher
What a good one does
- Builds steady timing with a metronome from the very start.
- Teaches reading drum notation as well as playing along by ear.
- Covers the styles the student wants, from rock and pop to jazz and Latin.
A teacher who doesn't teach drums never appears on your list. Everyone else is scored out of 100 on when they're free, where they teach, your budget, the student's standard and age, and the rest. What we match on
Common questions
Before you ask
Are drum lessons for children or adults?
Both. The form asks who the lessons are for and the student's age, and teachers say which ages they teach, so an adult beginner is matched as carefully as a seven-year-old.
Where do drum lessons happen?
Wherever suits you: at your home, at the teacher's own studio, online, or somewhere else, such as a community centre. You tick every one that works, and teachers with a studio show only the area, never the address.
How much does a drum teacher cost?
Teachers set their own rate per hour and you set a budget per hour, so everyone is compared the same way. Teachers inside your budget rank higher, and the form shows what your lesson length comes to.
